I will be going back this week to continue my work. I was there from 1pm - 4pm and we walked and played with 11 of the most desperate in need of homes dogs - the elderly and the long-termers who could really use that second chance and squishy sofa and loving family. I will also be photographing cats, birds and other small animals they have at the shelter in need of homes and will post them on facebook and here on the blog.
It's not an easy job when you're an animal lover, working with animal shelters, you do see the abuse, hear the horror stories and neglect and heart-wrenching tales of how the animals come to be there in some cases, however, the reward of helping them rehabilitate and see them progress and get adopted makes it very worthwhile! Please pop through the "Read More" section to see all 11 dogs I photographed on Thursday and share this blog post around - you never know who it might reach - your friend of a friend of a friend might find their furry soul-mate <3
Here they are, though looks like some have gone to new homes already! Great news :D http://www.rspca-radcliffe.org.uk/results-dogs
