The ceremony room was gorgeous, the multi-coloured sashes on the chairs brought a fun, summery, colourful aspect to the room, symbolism at the highest of the day as a whole and reflected the bride's and their family and friend's feelings throughout the day. I must say, the officiates at the wedding were some of the best I've worked along side, often the photographer is told to pick a spot and stay in it, but I always push the boundaries as much as I can to ensure I get the shots we need and the two women were more than happy to scoot over a bit to give me a better view or angle and also didn't mind me shooting guests and from a distance whilst the signing was taking place as well, it was all very comfortable and relaxed which made my job just that little bit easier.
There were a lot of happy tears from the brides and the guests (and even me!) as the ceremony wound its way to a close and such a wonderful atmosphere as Liz and Abbi became Mrs and Mrs Jay, you could almost taste the love it was so palpable in the room!
As the drinks and formal photos got underway before the breakfast the girls wanted something quick as it was threatening rain and a bit cool and they didn't want their guests to get upset (always thinking of others these two!) but we got everyone and lots of lovely photos including some great outtakes with the kids!
It really was a lovely day to share with such a great group of people! To check out some more photos from Mrs & Mrs Jay's wedding, follow the Read More Cut!
