On Thursday I was privileged to meet and photograph a beautiful little 2 week old boy. We had arranged his photoshoot to be sooner after his birth but I came down with some dreaded lurgy and we rearranged so I didn't pass it on to Baby Fairburn. It's always a fun experience with every little baby I get to meet, they are all so different with their likes, dislikes and abilities. This little man was super hungry and fed on and off for the first hour I was there, even though he'd already had a feed, but that's the thing about little newborns, they do everything in their own time and feeding can be almost non-stop for poor tired mums. Once he really had his fill we took some photos on and off. His least favourite position was ANY pose that required some tummy time, so we didn't pursue those poses so as not to distress him too much, but we did manage to get some beautiful photos with the family dog, Rum, who is very well behaved, very loving and extremely gentle. These two were a complete delight to shoot and hope I'll get to meet them all again some time :)
